New Look!!! Quick Release Passenger Seat

BeforeAfterFender with plugs
Modified seat

I decided to take off the rear seat and make it a quick release. This was a very simple mod. I removed the hardware and got suction cups for the bottom of the pillion pad. after cleaning the fender i then placed the seat back on to test it. It holds pretty firm, in fact it took a little effort to get off.
I think it makes the Raider look more custom and Chopper like. I got some Bumper Push Fasteners to fill in the holes in the fender. I painted those a gloss black and then placed them in to give it a more finished look. they are a gloss black but the flash made them look like a flat black.

Integrated Taillight & Side Mount Plate

Here is my latest addition. I got a Side mount bracket from Performance Edge. I covered it with an LED license plate frame from Custom Dynamics. I also chopped off the sub-fender and put in the Integrated taillight from Custom Dynamics

Gremlin Bell

I added my Gremlin bell that my Dad bought me. it hangs on the front of the lower frame where it can be seen!!!

Upper Belt Guard Painted

I painted the Upper belt guard a textured flat black. This gave it a powder coated look and makes the left side of the bike match better. The belt guard used to be silver as can be seen in the stock picture at the header of the blog or my first post.

Raider Fender Decal

I replaced the Yamaha decal that was on the rear fender with this RAIDER decal. it looks a lot better than the Yamaha sticker and really stands out on the fender. purchased this from sawtooth industries (see link)
I also removed the Star logos that were on the fake air boxes.

Impaler Black Flame Grips

These are black anodized Impaler Flame grips by HAMMER Custom Cycles (see link) the grips look and feel awesome. they go really well with the sharp features of the bike.
